The cart is designed to be generic across search pages. It now supports genes, genomes, clusters, and protein search hits, while keeping the same checkbox and `Add to cart` workflow across result tables. Protein-hit entries can now also feed the compare pages whenever they resolve to a genome or a cluster target.
